1979 was an outstanding year for Dan Rader as he won the Ohio Athletic Conference 400-meter title, and also earned All-American honors by running on the 4 x 400m relay squad that finished sixth at the NCAA Championships. Dan and his teammates set the current school record in the 4 x 400m during that meet, running an outstanding time of 3:15.88.
