Whitmore, Curtis

In the two years that Curtis Whitmore ran for the Cardinals, he established himself at the top of the Ohio Athletic Conference by winning individual titles in three different events; 300 yards, 100 yards, and 220 yards. In 1978, Curtis qualified for the national meet and finished fifth in the 200 meters with a time of 21.93. He also helped the 4 x 100m relay to a fourth-place finish, earning All-America honors for both events he took part in that day. Curtis still holds school records in the 300 yards and 4 x 100 relay while siting sixth on the all-time list in the 200.
