Kolling, Harmony
Pole vaulter Harmony Kolling absolutely busted onto the scene as a junior, improving her previous career-best by more than a foot in becoming the first Ohio Athletic Conference female to clear 13 feet.
Kolling jumped a staggering 13-0 ¾ (3.98m) to win the Division III All-Ohio Indoor Championships, shattering the indoor school record by more than eight inches and the outdoor by more than five.
She grabbed All-OAC honors two weeks later and then enjoyed her pinnacle moment at the NCAA Indoor Championships, jumping 12-9 ½ to finish runner-up and second in the entire country. She became, at the time, the 13th individual event All-American in program history.
Kolling also qualified for the NCAA’s during outdoor, where she competed just five times but did win two meets and also garb another All-OAC award.
