Paul Davis, born in Ashland, Ky., initially began his college football career with two years at Ohio State before transferring to Otterbein, where he spent his final two seasons lining up in the Cardinal backfield.

A 6’1”, 188-pound fullback, Davis was ultimately selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 24th round of the 1947 NFL Draft, at pick 218 overall. He spent two years playing professionally. Davis eventually retired down in Florida and passed away at the age of 63.
