A dominant force in the paint junior and senior seasons. Tyler Ousley, a 6-8, center from Butler, Ohio came into his own over the latter half of his career that spanned five seasons (2002-07) due to a medical redshirt he received for the 2004-05 season.

Ousley tallied 16 double-doubles his senior year on his way to D3basketball.com fourth team All-America honors. In addition, he earned second team All-Great Lakes and first team All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) honors. Ousley led the OAC in rebounding (10.8 per game), ranked third in scoring (19.7 a game), and second in blocked shots (2.6 a game), during the 2006-07 season in which he was selected OAC “player of the week” three times. Among NCAA Division III players, Ousley ranked 11th in the nation for blocked shots, 12th in rebounding, and 46th in scoring.

As a junior, Ousley earned first team All-OAC honors after leading the league in rebounding (10.6 per game) and blocked shots (3.1 a game); and ranking seventh in scoring (15.2 an outing).

Ousley finished his Otterbein career with 1,204 points, 786 rebounds, and 231 blocked shots. He also collected 171 assists and 70 steals.
