Dreier, Brian

Brian Dreier is one of eight players in the rich history of Otterbein men’s golf to earn multiple All-American awards.

Dreier was a member of the 1993 Hall of Fame that greased the wheels for future squads, becoming the first group in school history to qualify for the NCAA Championships. Otterbein finished eighth out of 22 schools that year at the event.

He was part of Otterbein’s first two Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) championship teams in 1992 and 1993, earning all-league honors after finishing tied for fourth at the ’92 conference event.

Although Otterbein did not win conference titles in 1994 or 1995, the team was still chosen to compete at the NCAA Championships. Dreier helped lead the way, earning All-American honors both years as the Cardinals finished fifth and second, respectively. Brian came in 21st individually at the ‘94 event before his best showing, fifth-place alone, came during the last tournament of his collegiate career in ‘95.
