Harman, Wes
Marysville product Wes Harman was a part of four Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) championship teams from 1998-2002. Harman grew up learning the game from his father, who worked as a local golf pro in their hometown.
Although a bit erratic off the tee at times, Wes was a great scrambler and used his phenomenal short game to post quality rounds of golf. He was solid and consistent in becoming a four-time All-OAC performer, finishing top-10 at the OAC Championships each of his four years. His best individual result was in sixth alone during his sophomore season.
The Cardinals made four NCAA appearances as a team during Harman’s career, which included three straight fourth-place finishes. Wes played a critical role in Otterbein’s success on the national stage, earning All-American honors in 2000 and 2002.
